Why the Drudge Report is one of the best designed sites on the web
This is a great review on the Drudge Report. DR and CL (craigslist) are good examples of low cost and efficient websites that are doing very well. They show that things don't always have to look pretty to get users/viewers. One thing to be said for both is that they are fast and simple, for the developer and user. -
Ocarina Surges To Top Paid iPhone App Position
I love this app. I want to buy a real Ocarina now. Although I think that the innovation of creating a truly playable instrament for the iPhone has a lot to do with it's success. The social features help but the app itself is incredible. -

White House RSS Feeds & Podcasts
I'm happy to discover the RSS feeds of the White House. I wish I had found these earlier so I could keep up on what President Bush had to say (via the podcasts). But I look forward to listening to President Elect Obama and getting the information about the White House from the source and not through the media. The popular media networks are an unnessary middle man in this day and age. You don't have to hear a sound bite and summary of what the President says, you can listen for yourself.
