Facebook Destroys Lucrative Birthday Reminder Industry
wow, the power of Facebook and other networks to literally make obselete some of the apps they host is kind of scary. I guess it's bound to happen though, why should they let the little guys make the money when they can?

White House RSS Feeds & Podcasts
I'm happy to discover the RSS feeds of the White House. I wish I had found these earlier so I could keep up on what President Bush had to say (via the podcasts). Microsoft BizSpark Embraces Startups With Free Software, Services
This is a significant and good move for Microsoft. I personally have decided to switch my main (personal) projects over to XAMP from the .Net environment because of the large fees required by Microsoft to build and run software on there platform. Although I don't know if this is enough to get me back, it is a step in right direction.
