Using Wildcards with the Windows Service Template in SCOM
I'm so glad I found this! I figured out how to monitor a service and have alerts sent on it earlier this year. But the problem is that we have hundreds of services to monitor on hundreds of machines. It would take forever to add them all. Fortunately these services all have a consistant naming scheme and this article explains exactly how to monitor them all using wildcards

Apple iPhone Software Update
The concept and practice behind the iPhone's "one physical button, software everything else" interface is great. I just got the 2.2 version software and with it got Google street view in my Google maps app. It's really nice to regularly get the added functionality for the phone. I still have a wish list for it and I'm looking forward to future updates. Hats off to Apple for making it happen and a job well done. -

Why the Drudge Report is one of the best designed sites on the web
This is a great review on the Drudge Report. DR and CL (craigslist) are good examples of low cost and efficient websites that are doing very well. They show that things don't always have to look pretty to get users/viewers. One thing to be said for both is that they are fast and simple, for the developer and user. -
Ocarina Surges To Top Paid iPhone App Position
I love this app. I want to buy a real Ocarina now. Although I think that the innovation of creating a truly playable instrament for the iPhone has a lot to do with it's success. The social features help but the app itself is incredible. -
