Nigerian official: greedy marks as guilty as 419 scammers
Thats interesting. I used to get emails all the time saying "I'm an heir to this big fortune, but I want to give it to you" kind of thing. They would always start out with "Sir, I know this email might catch you by surprise but…" or something like that. I remember the first one I got, I was like "WOW!, is this for real?, you want to give me all this money?" I may have even replied back. But now I've received probably over a thousand variations of this letter. With all kinds of stories behind why and how they want to give me money. It's hard to understand why people do this, and why they think it will work. I guess it does sometimes, go figure
