Android to Get Its Own App Market
Android is on the loose! The up and coming Android open platform that Google is pushing is obviously a response to the iPhone. It will be the only thing that comes close to an "iPhone Killer" . Will it actually be one though? Well was the PC a "Mac Killer" ? You could argue either yes or no, it depends on how you look at it. It's the same with Android VS. iPhone. Android will be open, resulting in the growth and adoption that the PC saw in the beginning and to this day. The iPhone will remain a more closed and restriced environment, just like Mac computers, and it also has its benefits and pros and cons. The bottom line is that practical hand held computing and mobile internet interactivity is up and coming and already here with the iPhone. I got an iPhone, in two years I will probably buy an Android based phone (but plans could change). So far I'm very excited about the iPhone and all it and it's apps offer. This hand-held computing paradigm is pretty nice
